We are a satellite of the Open Hands Food Store. We are currently open on Thursdays from 12.00 noon to 2.30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to use the Food Store, regardless of faith (or none).
To access the Food Store you will need a referral, either from one of Open Hands’ partner agencies, such as The Centre Project or Turning Point, or you can come direct to us and we can fill in a referral with you. If you do come straight to us, you will need to bring ID (preferably photographic) and proof of your circumstances ie benefits letter/delay of payments letter etc.
The Food Store provides a range of basic food items, ranging from baked beans, pasta, soup, biscuits, tinned meat and fish to cereal and milk, we usually have a small number of ‘non-stock’ items, which means they don’t fit into any category, and can include honey, Marmite, peanut butter or packet mixes of various types – these change all the time, so we can’t guarantee what will be available. We are able to serve single people and families of all sizes.
